Professor Lucy Delap and her team were preparing for a conference and wanted a website to host their work for the Modern British Studies Association and to enable people to sign up for the conference, run in partnership with the University of Bristol. The WordPress website development was created by Susie Tobias at Wise Genius and we recommended a low-carbon approach with ethical hosts.

What Hello Lovely did
I reviewed the supplied text and mapped out a simple website as agreed in the proposal that covered the essential items at this start-up stage. The logo was text-based for simplicity and ease, using an accessible colour palette that can be developed as the Association grows.
Working with Figma, I prepared the wireframe and integrated the logo into the site mock-ups and presented these to the client, having checked with Susie that these would be suitable for Divi, our WordPress editor of choice.
I took in the client changes and adjusted the design using Divi Editor, and then passed the site to Susie for integration with Krystal, the host platform. We worked together to launch the site ahead of the conference.
