website design and image research
Ruth Farenga already had a website but wasn’t happy with the functions and got in touch with a request to rebuild her site so it linked to her refreshed business direction and incorporated her book, new branding and services.

What Hello Lovely did
I reviewed the existing website and mapped the structure in Figma to identify user-journey pain points and improve site flow and navigation.
The new site was built in Squarespace, alongside a DNS migration from GoDaddy to consolidate domain management and reduce costs. While the migration presented challenges, these were managed through ongoing coordination with both platforms, allowing the build to progress in parallel using a consistent design system and page structure.
Ruth’s branding was fully integrated into the site, including colour, typography, and imagery from her books to strengthen brand recognition and showcase her published work. To manage costs, we also sourced and tested complementary stock imagery aligned with the brand and copy.
Once approved, the copy was implemented, links and SEO set up across all pages, and images compressed for performance. Working with Ruth’s VA, MailerLite was integrated, final snags resolved, and the site prepared for launch.
