What would you like to learn?
I love discussing design and I was pleased to update my speaking page with new topics and links. I firmly believe that design should be understandable as well as entertaining. As a trained coach and designer, I often sense frustration with a topic that can be complex. The audience will get the very best from their time with me and get actionable tips.

Which one is better? Well, that’s largely down to what you prefer to use and what your website and business aims are. The process of idea to website varies a little to my workflow for WordPress and customised website development. This post is an overview of Hello Lovely’s Squarespace steps which you may find useful if you’re thinking of offering this service to your clients or you’d like to work with me on your Squarespace website.

Is the answer found in understanding why Canva exists? I read a post on Facebook written by a designer who was told by a friend that designers are redundant because ‘everyone can use Canva’. This blog post explores best practice, suggests when it could be good to use Canva and when to call on the professionals.
Twelve top design skills which aren't creative!
I’ve managed designers, commissioned them and I work as one too. When I set up Hello Lovely, I drew on all those experiences. I thought about the systems I have used, the people I’ve worked with and my client experiences. What worked, what didn’t and can I do better?
